Who Can Apply?

You may be eligible for the Subclass 462 Work and Holiday Visa if you meet the following criteria:

You hold an Indonesian passport

You are 18–30 years old

You have never held a Subclass 462 visa before

You hold at least a bachelor’s degree

You have passed an approved English test

You are of good character, with no criminal record

You have no outstanding debt to the Australian Government

You can show you have sufficient funds to support your stay

You have a valid passport

You have a Letter of Government Support from the Indonesian Government

Required Documentation Overview

To apply for the Subclass 462 Work and Holiday Visa, you’ll need to prepare the following documents:

Valid Passport

A copy of your current passport with at least 12 months’ validity.
Previous Passports
Copies of any old passports, especially those with previous Australian visas.
Passport-Sized Photo
One recent, clear, passport-style photo in digital format.
Academic Documents
A copy of your degree certificate and official transcript.
English Language Test Result
Proof that you’ve passed an approved English language test.
Letter of Government Support
An official Letter of Authorisation from the Indonesian Government.
Kartu Keluarga (Family Registration Card)
A clear copy of your family registration card.
Proof of Funds
Evidence of at least AUD 5,000 in your bank account, plus funds to purchase a return flight.
Health Check
A medical examination and chest X-ray from an approved panel clinic or radiologist.
Police Clearance (SKCK)
A Surat Keterangan Catatan Kepolisian (SKCK) confirming you have no criminal record.
